Acolytes: Youth and adults act as servers and assist the clergy during worship. Training is available for those that are interested.

Altar Guild: Members have the responsibility of caring for and preparing the vessels, vestments, and furnishings used at the Eucharist.

Choir: The Adult choir sings during the 10:30am Sunday service. Children’s choir sings and/or plays bells on special occasions.

Chalice Bearers: Lay Eucharist ministers help to administer the chalice during the Holy Eucharist. Training is required and available.

Daughters of the King (DOK): Daughters commit to a daily discipline of prayer. They meet for one hour the second Saturday of each month beginning at 11:00am

Epiphany Service: Annually on the feast of the Epiphany, January 6, we gather to celebrate with burning of Christmas trees and greens and a service of light. This is followed by fellowship and sharing of beverages and treats.

Greeters/Ushers: Volunteers greet parishioners and visitors, distribute bulletins, and oversee offertory at Sunday services.

Lectors/Lay Readers: Readers read the lessons and lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People.

Newcomers: Our Newcomer’s Committee helps welcome newcomers and visitors to Emmanuel including sharing in our prayer bead ministry.

Pet Blessing: On the afternoon of the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi we gather in Emmanuel’s Memorial Garden with our pets for blessings.
